I’ve had a lot of people questioning why stay on property lately. I do have experience with staying off site and on site. With that said, I will never stay off property again. The shear convenience and magic is worth being on site. You may think you’re saving money but once you add in your car rental, gas prices, transportation time, parking fees (think $20+ per day) and the rest of my reasons below, you’ll realize it’s so much better to be in the middle of the magic all the time.
1. EXTRA MAGIC HOURS! Yes, these are hours that are ONLY for Disney resort guests! You can get sooo much done during this time, it’s like your own personal theme park. If you are not staying at a Disney resort, you will not be allowed in (or if it’s night time EMH, you won’t be allowed on any rides). This is a GREAT perk!
2. Dining reservations can be booked at 180+10 days! What does that mean? Dining reservations open up for everyone at 180 days out. For Disney resort guests only, they open up at 180 days from the first day of your vacation and you can book up to 10 days from that date. This helps secure those hard to get reservations like “Be Our Guest”!
3. Fastpasses are available at 60 days out instead of 30. You will have your pick for popular attraction times!
4. Free Magic Bands! Yup, those cool bands that you’ve been seeing everywhere are FREE for Disney resort guests… they will be your tickets, room keys, credit card, dining plan, fastpass+’s, etc. They are so convenient and stylish!
5. FREE transportation! Did you read that right? YES! Disney will pick you up from the airport (and handle all of your luggage) for FREE! Once you get on property, all of the transportation is FREE! Did you know it’s $20 PER day to park at the theme parks? You’ll be saving tons this way! When it’s time to go, let Disney take your luggage to the airport and they’ll transport you for FREE! It’s so nice to relax while on vacation and not have to worry about where you’re going and how you’re going to get there. Let Disney take care of it for you!
6. Surrounded by the magic! You are completely immersed in Walt’s World when you’re on property. Pin trade with cast members at your hotel, enjoy Disney theming everywhere & be able to see the fireworks from so many different properties every single night. It doesn’t get any better than that!
7. Free delivery! You can make a purchase within Walt Disney World at one of their many gift shops and NOT have to carry it around all day. They will deliver the items you purchase to your resort… for… you guessed it. FREE!
8. Time. Time is money. You can’t deny that. Being in the middle of the magic, you won’t waste any time traveling to the parks in the morning or getting back to the resort at night.
9. Disney Dining Plan. This can be a huge money saver and a wonderful thing for those families who love to plan ahead. It will allow for you to order *almost* ANYTHING off the menu at the hundreds of Disney restaurants on property. How does lobster sound tonight? Or perhaps prime rib? You got it!
10. You get to use ME! Your own personal tour guide/planner. My services are FREE when you’re staying on property and purchasing a Magic Your Way package.
