Foodie Friday – Review on Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom

If you like Asian inspired cuisine, this is the place for you! Yak & Yeti is located in Animal Kingdom and FULL of character.

The entire restaurant is very unique in it’s own way. There is a sit down restaurant as well as a quick service location attached to the restaurant.

The full menu will give everyone something to satisfy them. As you first step foot into the restaurant you’ll begin to notice the decor. Everything from the statues to the wood on the stairs has been brought in from India. There are two floors to dine on.

The menu begins with some really yummy drinks. I suggest the Yak Attack or a virgin strawberry daiquiri.

The appetizer menu includes things like egg rolls, wonton soup, ahi tuna, potstickers & wok-fried green beans.

Entrees include ribs, chicken, fish, lo mein & more. Most are served with cabbage or rice as a side.

The kid’s menu is full of great choices like chicken tenders, burgers & lo mein.

Plenty to choose from with the desserts but in my opinion, this is where you can get the best dessert on Disney property: Fried Wontons (Skewers of fresh pineapple and cream cheese wontons, vanilla ice cream, honey-vanilla drizzle). And yes, they are as good as they sound!

This is a great alternative to the same old buffet food you can get everywhere else. It is one table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. Advanced reservations are recommended.
